As a holistic therapist, I keep general records and notes of client treatments, personal information such as name, contact details, doctors name and basic medical information. I make notes regarding the treatment and it is requirement that I hold this information for 8 years.

 

All personal information supplied to me is private and confidential, is never shared with any third parties and never needs to be. The only circumstance where this information may be shared is in a medical emergency to medical professionals concerned who are also bound by the same strict data protection laws.
